I would start by checking if the Hotbed works, Measure the resistance of the Hotbed using a multi-meter. This does not have to be a fancy multi-meter you will be checking for a really low resistance between 1 - 10 ohms.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
Installing Business radios and Repeaters have a lot of left over wire. I power my controller with a Radio Power cable Motorola HKN4191 20 amp, 12 AWG My Cables are left over and missing fuse holder and Motorola power cable connector as these part are used on when installing radios. You may ask your local Business radio company they may have a throwaway piece they would give you really cheap orby Roberts_Clif - General
V1 Engineering has marlin firmware setup for their MPCNC. You could take a look you may find it will work with very minor changes.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
QuoteOhmarinus It depends on the breakout board that you have and it usually is printed on the PCB. Anyway, this is for the reprapdiscount board: I rotated both connectors on My Big-tree.com to make it work correctly. I have a PCB that looks like the one Ohmarinus posted, do not know if it is exactly the same...by Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
Forgot to mention - the Plastic connector housing will slide up then can be pressed back on rotated 180 degrees. To test you can very carefully put the connector in rotated shown in photo below. without rotating housing plug connector in With rotating housings this is what I did on Adruino mega 2560 with Ramps 1.6 and the Bigtree.Com display to get my MPCNC working. If needed will post videby Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
I purchased this Bigtree reprap smart discount controller and found that its connectors were keyed wrong for My Hictop 3DP11 controller. I have two smart displays attached and the keys are on the opposite side of the connector, After changing the connector wiring the controller worked. Keyed bottom This bottom display is my original and the top is the one that I rotated the cable pins. Bottby Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
Some of the reprap discount smart controllers have a contrast control on the back. try to adjust this control.by Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
Ok??? What are the specs for your Stepper motors. Current Limit = VREF × 2 So, for example, if you have a stepper motor rated for 1 A, you can set the current limit to 1 A by setting the reference voltage to 0.5 V.by Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
I would measure the V-Ref voltages on all DRV8825 drivers then post the results. It does not appear that you are on the Y-Axis End-stop, though would still test all end-stops using M119.by Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics
QuoteEnerology Not yet, I am almost done with everything on the machine and the folks on the Discord 3D printing forums convinced me to do a complete showcase of the printer and post it to Youtube. The thing is a monster, it has 4 Steppers for the X, 4 for Y & 4 for Z and 8 for extruders. I have +60 stepper motors so I just wanted to do a insane build with some of them. Wow!!!! I know itby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
The configuration.h file will come in handy for Users wanting to help. Have you done testing of your 3D Printer hardware or firmware to see what if any is in need of calibration.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
You are never to old or to young to learn. So kudos1 There are many setting that need to be adjusted for setting up a 3D Printer. In order to give you the correct information we would need more information, this could be easier if you had a previously configured firmware. If this is a Home Brew 3D Printer then we would need as much information as you could give about build size, thermisters, Enby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

I had a similar problem, my 5 volt regulator actually died so ended up replacing it with this DC-DC Step Down Buck Converter 1.5V 3V 5V 9V 12V and Adjustable at 3 amps. I also killed my Ramps 12 volt regulator and at the same time replaced it shown below, link show the process for both. This is my suggestion, there are many on this forum that have had similar problems and many different wayby Roberts_Clif - Reprappers
Hello!!! I see the work Grease... I will step in for a quick moment, I have used many types of grease and lube have had problems with the axis sticking using any grease thick or thin.. Find that a good machine oil works best, if my 3D Printer sits for a period of time I wipe all smooth rods and re-lube the linear bearings. I even 3D Printed some SC8UU PLA plastic bushings, do not laugh they workby Roberts_Clif - Printing
I like reminiscing about my younger days. Though these newer mini computers has the power of hundreds of my TRS-80. We did some amazing things with our computers like turn a thousand dollar computer into a tape recorder. Create a computer game using basic mnemonics (assembly language) we were the pioneers, what we are still the pioneers. I heard they were building computers from GPU's When I was born Transistor Computers were starting When I went to collage Microprocessors were starting (you remember the Mark (8)) and (SWTPC 6800) these were what we assembled and had to program before graduation. After Graduation on my first real job sent Dad to pickup my 1st real computer with all the money I had skimped and saved to pick upby Roberts_Clif - General
Thank you. I know that if I do not want to go online I can keep the computer as is or even revert to windows XP or earlier As i still have the ghost images, Just last year I company hired me to repair a Windows 98 SE machine. They asked a computer repair store and were laughed at so I of course repaired it for them. This machine is all they have to program Old Radio frequencies, the companiesby Roberts_Clif - General
This is happening to my Computer thought would post in as it is happening to others Computers. As time pasted on have upgraded for one Computer to Another an from one Windows operating system to another. At this time my Computers 8 Core CPU, motherboard and drivers have reached the end of there limits as the motherboard manufacture has stopped creating working drivers. I am ready to start the installation of VSCode / PlatformIO venture again! The first time I installed VSCode / PlatformIO was having problems problems with installing Visual Studio 2017-2019 as the windows registry somehow got really corrupted. After many windows backups restores determined the the registry had somehow been corrupted about 2 years ago I restored a older version of my Windows 7by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
Quotedlc60 MKSA sometimes has good points, he isn't always up on the wrong side of the bed. He sometimes posts good links to the experts. Fortunately, the experts on the lists have nearly endless patience with those of us who are re-discovering what others have often already perfected over time. I see you found solution for the elephants foot on your models. good going. This a partial reason why I use a little air directed at the model when printing with higher temperature filaments, Yes I know that there are de-lamination risks in cooling certain types filaments. This has not affected or caused warping of my ABS models in my heated enclosure as of this posting.by Roberts_Clif - Slic3r

You may be correct though I have a starting point and an ending point. We start here then when we know the slicers and configurations are in at a good point.
