Yes You just install ArduinoISP onto your sanguinololu, then find out wich pins are required (that will be the tricky part) scetch says its uses pins: and to me it looks like these are the following // pin name: on SL // slave reset: 10: z-direction // MOSI: 11: z-step // MISO: 12: PB4 on io header (nb on some boby Dust - Controllers
It means your using an release branch configuration.h on a developers branch version of marlin in particular your configuration.h has a line mentioning "CUSTOM_MENDEL_NAME" where are the development branch version needs "CUSTOM_MACHINE_NAME"by Dust - Reprappers
missing 'upload.tool' is one of the config lines that is missing when you use a old style boards.txt file in the new version of the Arduino IDE simply add {boardnam}.upload.tool=avrdude prefixed with your board name to your boards.txt file.by Dust - Reprappers
you didnt read the link Ill re phrase, you cant use a USBtiny to upload a boot loader, as the boot loader sits at the end of eeprom. This issue is that the USB tiny only attempts to control 16 bit address not the full 24 bit address, so the chip nevers gets full addreses from your programmer. As far as the atmeg 1284 is concerned, your sending it garbage You have no choice but to use a differeby Dust - Sanguino(lolu)
I e-mailed reprap.me and asked them what they where using for mixing. Here is the reply, very intersting. "Repetier firmware supports color mixing, (if you will call what the hotend does mixing) Here's the programmers explanation, I will comment more below: Mixing extruder Definition =============== A combination of exactly one nozzle with inputs 2 - 6 filaments driven by their own filamenby Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group
If M119 shows thay are working you have you axis and or your homeing direction inverted eg if you have set homing to max ands it hitting min endstop it will not stop. On a standard Cartisian type bot like a I3 (presumes hot ends moves on X and Z, and in Y the bed moves) X Min is on the left, X Max is at the right. X - direction moves head left, X + direction moves head Right Y Min is at theby Dust - RAMPS Electronics
Yip currently building more extruders... I am still wondering about how to mount it... my I3 carriage has recessed nuts... the Diamond mount also has recessed nuts... something is backwards. Adding an E2 to a ramps doesn’t look very hard... at the electronics level (I am concerned the MPU wont have enough power to do this) Firmware... TX/RX are just TTL 5v they are broken out on the mega pins labled TX0 RX0 They also go threw vias you could tap into, or pull the AT Mega 16u2 and use its pins, or tap in to resitors RN4A and RN4B There are 4 serial ports. The other serial pins are used on endstop and AUX4 (LCD) I have moved endstops to spare pins before to get access to other serial ports. using a ftdi will work on otheby Dust - Reprappers

You say mega in the title , but the code says your have set the board type to something that needs Teensy++ 2.0, probabaly a printrboard. First identify what board you really have. then edit your configuration.h so the line #define MOTHERBOARD matches your hardware. Repstrapping is it... The only thing you really have to be concerned with is bed size and build height. Will all the individual parts I want for the 2nd revision fit on in the build area. The parts wont be prety, but nothing drilling and filing cant make close enough. These days there isnt much point in restraping, unless you want to... The ide is a bit buggy Some errors freeze the display instead of displaying the error Run the ide from the comand line, when it freezes, send the command line a CTRL C, this will kill the ide, but will also show the error its getting hung up on.by Dust - Sanguino(lolu)
If you have a bed that moves up and down, Z is correct. Controlls are relaitive to the position of the head. Eg to move the head up, the bed must move down. re Y axis check what the end stop is saying with a m119 command, both when presses and when it not. should say triggered when depressed Have you tuned your vrefs? I have confirmed this issue... its the marlin your using. real marlin from set to #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_MELZI and #define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER Compiles without issues for a 1284p... (runs out of space on a 644p)by Dust - Sanguino(lolu)

It does look like they have forgotten the input to the +5 servo rail, on a normal ramps it near reset button. But never mind Plug you servo in. at the other end of the servo bank plug 5+ into the middle + rail Just measn you can only have 3 servos max. Best to generate your own 5v rail from 12v also, as the 5v rail doesnt really have enough power (causes the servo the twitch)by Dust - RAMPS Electronics

ITWhiz have you read ? You have 5 wire Unipolar steppers, and standard pololu Bipolar drivers....
