In what Ebay shop did you buy your hotend?by Ohmarinus - General Mendel Topics
It has the same USB connector as the Leonardo, I have no idea where you can get it, but I can tell you that it's possible to replace it without too much trouble. All you need is a replacement connector, a soldering iron and a steady hand.by Ohmarinus - Controllers
M8 rods cost 77 eurocents/meter in the metalshop around the corner and till now they have worked beautiful, so I wouldn't call it expensiveby Ohmarinus - Mendel90

Kijk:by Ohmarinus - Dutch User Group - Archive
I think you can expect your users to have tried to adjust the trimpot, so I actually have to agree with romscraj. You could've tried adjusting it yourself first. I hope you get your package though.by Ohmarinus - Singapore RUG
You can just order a replacement connector. A little soldering work from your side and it can be fixed. I wouldn't define ripping off your USB connection as 'clumsy' thoughby Ohmarinus - Controllers

Kelly, it can be a lot of things, did you set the vref high enough on the pololu's?by Ohmarinus - General
A. Niets bij printedparts kopen!!
Awesome update, the machine is SO CUTE! Incredible... Initially I had really negative thoughts about the outcome, you proved me wrong, really, thats worth somethingby Ohmarinus - Delta Machines
Kijk even in mijn topic over isolatie.

Ohhh like that, hmm, yeah tighten it more! I have wrapped it around with one more loop and fixed the looped belt with a tie-rip.by Ohmarinus - General
I think you are confused, or maybe I'm confused, but you should know that the materials that you see on a PCB are copper. And I think they mean that you should look for an etched PCB and not one where the applied the copper to the areas needed? Anyway, If you buy an MKII heatbed you're fine anyway.by Ohmarinus - General
Yes, there is a setting in slic3r where you can set the extrusion width for the first layer.by Ohmarinus - General
Beautiful machine, the way you have mounted the X-carriage makes perfect sense to me. The carriage is put vertical, but I see the two smooth rods are not directly above eachother, seems very balanced and logical. I think my next machine will be a Prusa i3 or a Mendel90... Or a Falconby Ohmarinus - General New Machines Topics
Is die 1 meter M5 draadeind voor de Z-as?by Ohmarinus - Dutch User Group - Archive
The machine looks a bit sloppy, broken glass printbed, the bearing that your belt runs on on the far X-end looks worn down? And having your bed cool down takes a lot of time, not to mention that when I print, my prints are just stuck completely to my bed, so a machine can't remove them. It is a 'fun' idea, and indeed a needed feature, but I think there is a much better way to do this, with for eby Ohmarinus - General

The spacing between the GT2 and T2.5 is different, did you also put on matching pulleys?by Ohmarinus - General
I have tried getting a few orders from Igus, I live in Holland, and the prices for some items were incredibly high. I had to ask for prices through the website, so I placed an order for the pricing, but I got my reply from a completely different company, I think this is where all the added cost comes from. In the reply email I got from "Elcee Holland B.V" and the pricing for the items I requestby Ohmarinus - Huxley
Did you guys even look at the pictures I posted? I fixed it! I had already printed the cable chains, but they were not good enough, I wanted something better, and I found it! It even has a special tool to guide the wire through the cable guideby Ohmarinus - Controllers
Hi! If you burn cornstarch you also get cancerous fumes. It's about the printing temp.by Ohmarinus - General
Finally received my QU-BD strip of ceramic insulation! Yes And I can tell it works well. What I do now is insulate the heater block so the heat is radiated less to other parts of the machine and also the hotend has a more stable temperature. And, third, the heat has less travel upwards to other printer parts like the extruder carriage. I am already using a fan to cool down the upper part of tby Ohmarinus - Printing
I am also using the 2.5 amp motors, works fine, they don't get hot, the only thing you need is to actively cool down your stepper drivers with a fan.by Ohmarinus - For Sale
