I agree. Though if you are going to boldly continue this course then search threw my posts you will see how I rewired my Arduino MEGA 2560 and RAMPS1.6 to work using a 24v supplyby Roberts_Clif - Safety & Best Practices

After Many months accidentally upgraded my Anycubic 3 Kobra firmware today. Will have to wait till prints finishes to ascertain my current firmware version. It appears to be working correctly so glad this is over and done with. 3D Printing more of the Dino bag clips, and a someone that would like a few. I have the speed set high enough that a clip only takes about an hour to successfully printsby Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants
I hate to see users with broken 3D Printers or computers, though with a computer how in the world can you survive. Though I found this information online. You can use a third-party app like ArduinoDroid to program Arduino boards with an Android device. This requires installing the app, connecting your phone to the Arduino board via a USB OTG cable, and using the app's built-in editor to writeby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

I too just learned of this simulator, though Will try it in Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.26100 Build 26100. Just need to read the full article several times to determine what I need to do for Marlin Simulator setup in Windows 11 to execute the program correctly.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
This may or may not be your problem though until hot-end get to a set temperature the extruder will not extrude to protect itself. Specifically, you'll modify parameters related to minimum and maximum temperature limits, thermal runaway protection, and potentially cold extrusion prevention. #define PREVENT_COLD_EXTRUSION #define EXTRUDE_MINTEMP Defines the minimum temperature which the extrudeby Roberts_Clif - Reprappers
I was starting to build a CoreXY 3D printer though with the purchase of a pair of Anycubic Kobra 3's decided to turn it into a smaller version of my MPCNC. Though like I say it is just too hot here, yesterday when temperature hit 106 with all the AC's running the inside went to 86. I know that the Kobra 3 combos were so cheap that I could purchase the parts for the price for a DIY. Though my MPby Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
I am here every day though the temperature is way too high to add any extra heat inside this old house. so nothing to post really.by Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines

Started with a 8X8 lead screw to I decided to try the 8X2 shown in below Highlighted in Green. // Typical stepper motors have 200 steps per full step/rev = 1.8°/step, so 1/16 microstepping = STEPS_PER_REVOLUTION_E = 3200 // X-Y Axis 3200, / 20 tooth, / 2mm pitch = 200*16 / 20 / 2 = 80 :: (STEPS_PER_REVOLUTION_X / IDLER_TEETH_X / BELT_PITCH_X) // Z Axis 3200, / 1.25mm pitch leadscrew = 200*16 /by Roberts_Clif - Mechanics
Did a web search for " Tinybee Z offset enable baby-stepping" Found this information may of may not help, though thought I would post anyway. QuoteAI Overview While the MKS Tinybee board itself doesn't natively support live babystepping, meaning you can't directly adjust the Z-offset while a print is in progress. You can still utilize babystepping to make permanent Z-offset adjustments by integby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin
I found a work around. If you load your model into Bambu Studio create all the Painted surfaces and save to 3MF file Reload model into Orca Slicer 2.3.0-RC change to your Kobra 3 and filament profiles slice and save to USB flash drive then print with Kobra 3.by Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi I have been looking for a users manual for Orca Slicer 2.3.0 or anything even close as to allow me to use the full potential of slicers. Would be happy to see this in any form pdf, you-tube videos just would like to learn everything that can be done with this slicer.by Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants
Here we have a Painted object shown in the photo below. If the Painted is in Object mode then they will have a place to select/change the filament. Painted Object Else if they do not have, then the filament will not change in this global mode.by Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants
Yesterday Well thought is would work simply because Orca Slicer 2.3.0 RC lists AnuCubic Kobra 3 in compatible Printers lists. I guess in a way it does work because it will print a mono print though not a multiple color model. OK back to looking for a better slicer for my Anycubic Kobra 3 combo. __________________________________________________________________________________________ OK todayby Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants

Quotetag1260 Is the configure h file the same from version to version or do you need to write a new one every update? The Configuration.h file varies form version to version. I use Winmerge to compare both files. Winmerge allows you to compare two or even three files then make changes to them and save any or all. In fact it is probably time to see what the next version of winmerge has to offer.by Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants
