Don't now if this helps or not. But when i finished my printer and got my glass. I could not get anything to stick to it. i cleaned and cleaned. After a couple of months of heating and cleaning, salting the class with PLA, using caption tap for PLA and ABS. Using blue painters tape. I finely came to the conclusion that temperature windows on ABS and PLA for both the Hot end and the build plaby gdwinslow - Ormerod
I have a RepRap Tricolour Mendel printer as well and went a Different rout. One hot end, easy to adjust, multiple extruder drives. Tack a look at this: . I use the Ormerod Duet Controller with the Extender board: . Works very well with the DC42 FW and Cura .by gdwinslow - General
Not sure weather this is the right place or knot. But i had a question on the v1.02 web interface, using the 0.78 FW. In the reprap.htm file, should this line Below: vertical-aligb be vertical-align ?by gdwinslow - Ormerod
oww, sorry. new build appears to be working Grate for me. No bugs so fare, and i have run several printsby gdwinslow - Ormerod
This is probably a dome Question, but i am Cur-ease. When i send the command 'M906 E800', and i have the expansion board. Dos it also set the current for the other fore Drive motors on the expansion board ?by gdwinslow - Ormerod
I have successfully put the duet Board on my RepRapPro Mendel Tricolor. Using the Micro switch end stops. I never was a Fan of having more than one hot end (To Much work to keep it aligned and working). So I use one hot-end with the multiply color adapter to put 4 extruders into one hot end (superior, a must do). To make this all work I used the DC42 0.78r Firmware with the 1.02 web interfaceby gdwinslow - General Mendel Topics
Thanks for the response DC, i cut the feed rate down on Z to 220, tried to increase current, but the max feed rat change seams to be more effective. Still sounds like its chewing nails, so this morning i cut down to 200. If i get a chance tonight i will try the h release. Thanks age-an for all the hard work.by gdwinslow - Ormerod

Bigger print worked good. Had to change my fan on my hotend (Rely load). Discover sum thing that has not happen in a couple of releases Steps to reproduce 1. Home all. 2. hit the Z+10 button using the web interface. 3. Send this command: G1 X25.0 Y25.0 Z0 All three motors start to move wall in my case all 4 motors. The Z motor starts to lose steps. Not sure weather this release supports this or not. I just got me Duex board and installed it. I created tow tools: M563 P1 D0 H1 ; Create tool 1 M563 P2 D1 H1 ; Create tool 2 Will the firmware support this?by gdwinslow - Ormerod
Sorry, comment on the G90/G91 affecting extrude-rs. All good comments and questions. I think i am to Now to this feald to comment on right way to handle though. I will change my END code for now. Thanks allby gdwinslow - Ormerod

I installed the RepRapFirmware-065k-dc42.bin vershion and the FTP worked grate. The FW in general appeared to work well. I am having trouble with my z axes not able to go to the same point when i do a G30 command. Si i have to check and adjust each time i use the printer. This might help. I am getting and error in java Script: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasOwnProperty' of undefined if (resp.hasOwnProperty('myName') && resp.myName.length != 0) reprap.js:131by gdwinslow - Ormerod

Wall gave it a try. Don't have jtag so I can't give much, but hear is my observations: Web interface: 1. Cant tell when the printer has been homes All. 2. Cant get the current coordinates of X, Y and Z. 3. Temperature Graph is not working, I can set head bed to on and the Hot end. 4. The Version for the FW is not printing on the Settings tab. Hi Guys, I have a RepRapPro Tricolor Mendel, with a Duet board on it. I am ruining the 0.59-DC42 Firmware (Works beautiful for me) with the 0.76 Web. Being stuck with Slic3R is my only complaint. But to my question: Is there some instructions or maybe and brake-down on all the fields and stats in the web interface? I mean a lot of it is self explanatory, but the graph on the "Print Status" Pby gdwinslow - Ormerod

wall my Gen7 board burnt the power supply jack trying to run 115C on my build plate (To much current for that jack). As fare as schematic is concerned, hook one lag of the relay contact to the power supply positive terminal and the other side of the contact to the heatbed. connect the power supply negative terminal to the other Heatbed terminal. connect the signal connections to the Controllerby gdwinslow - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
There correct, most if not all the electronics barley handle the current load to do ABS, let all own two heating elements. This is of course not tacking into account the power requirement's for two loads. I would suggest two power supplies (30VDC 10A) and two DC to DC SSR (solid state relays). This would handle power requirements and heat the build plate in a descent amount of time. Don't havby gdwinslow - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
As I under stand it there needs to be a Driver created specifically for each printer. Also the driver receives the Image in a Non STL form, and the driver has to slice the image. This creates some issues as you can imagine. There probably will not be a Driver for industry standard printers or any CNC systems using GCode for a while if ever. Microsoft states there will be a Generic driver, buby gdwinslow - Repetier
It all was cracks me up when I read the list of info when some on asks what is the stock Polly and belt spec for a reprap Printer. I think the question needs to be focused first to: Witch Reprap printer and to version: (For instance) RepRapPro Mendal II, Latest Multicolor printer. Unfortunately I am like the Guy how asked the question right off. I don't have even the plastic Polly to look aby gdwinslow - General
