Then enable babystepping and Probe offsets. In Configuration_adv.h enable "#define BABYSTEPPING: Additionally you could enable "#define BABYSTEP_ZPROBE_OFFSET" Used babystepping for quite some time while printing a skirt around you will have enough time using the LCD control to nudge nozzle into the perfect height. OR Using the Z_Probe offset you can adjust nozzle offset before print start, thby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

With the Chinese businesses closed down and Covid tests stations everywhere decided to purchase all remaining parts from my Country of origin. Doing so means I have to make changes to my initial build of materials list. Will be using two MF128ZZ bearings for each of the 4 Belt idler Pulleys these are a little short of correct width an will include PLA spacer washer. My other 4 idler Belt pulleysby Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
When I flashed using newest firmware versions I have to initialize. To do this Click LCD button > select Configuration > Select Advanced Settings > Select Initialize EEPROM If I did not do this my XY steppers would not function and many other features were faulty. I was playing with DSM and the RSDOC for Scalable CoreXY V2 (HICTOP Prusa i3 hardware Converted to CoreXY). Noted when opening RSDOC file turn off all and select the bed get different smooth rods an holders. When I turn off bed and turn on the whole project the different different smooth rods an holders still appear along with originals. Quotethe_digital_dentist Getting four round rails parallel to each other is going to be tricky. It is much easier to get two linear guides parallel to each other... OK! Can you post a link for a CoreXY with complete plans that should suit my purposes. An not cost an arm an a leg.by Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
Not exactly. I was going to duplicate the lift on the other side as to have dual Z stepper motors with quad smooth rods, believe this should prevent the cantilever. I Have installed Design Spark Mechanical, this is how I removed all the other parts to display only the Forklift. though do not know how to export the smooth rod models to STL. Learned how to export the STL files no more problem. Tby Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
I have ran into a snag. The Scalable CoreXY V2 I have selected has a basic problem all the STL files were not created. Missing is an important file shown in the image below. I can not find these models or know how to remove them from the RSDOC file. or I am hoping someone has a similar coreXY lift part that can be adapted to this CoreXY or a complete set of plans with a complete set of STLby Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
On my 3D Printer using the original power wires the voltage would drop from 12 volts to 8.3 volts this was too large of a voltage drop an as it turned out this was my problem.by Roberts_Clif - Mendel90
I would measure the voltage on the power supply when the spike occurs and again at the power pins on your printer controller card. If the voltage drops on the power supply during a spike then your power supply may be under rated. If the voltage drops only on the controller during a spike then your power supply cables needs to be larger to supply the current to your controller.by Roberts_Clif - Mendel90
I dropped your config files into a new Marlin 2.0.9.3 compiled with Visual Code Studio > PlatformIO > Marlin AutoBuild. Found this which will give me a head start into a CoreXY 3D Printer. It is a Scalable CoreXY V2 (HICTOP Prusa i3 hardware Converted to CoreXY). Hello to all I have three Cartesian style 3D Printers. But now I am looking a building a CoreXY style 3D Printer. Would like information on DIY builds that would meet at least 300mm cubed, a nice good fast 3D Printer that will put my Cartesian style 3D Printers on E-Bay. Was thinking of building a simple inexpensive CoreXY printer that could be upgraded to make a great 3D Printer, One that woulby Roberts_Clif - CoreXY Machines
Quotelmcbmai I have z-probe of my own design with optical sensor and electronic circuit identical to the circuits of X, Y and Z end-stops. No I am here listening, I built an MPCNC Burley - 550X750X220 This still need some work to become a 3D Printer / CNC router. Looking at putting a Z-Axis endstop / sensor of some design have not determined what as of this date. Though the MPCNC router does not really need a Z-sensor the 3D Printer add-on will. This will allow me to 3D Print large models with larger diameter nozzles.by Roberts_Clif - Tech-Talk
