you can fix in the host program settings, in repetier, set the home to max, or make it home at 200, and not 0, in simplify3d, you can click the mirror image on the X axis. I fixed it in the marlin firmware. and then set my settings in repetier.by pushthatbolder - General

Preheat oven to 300℃ for 25minutes. Place spool in for 55 Minutes. Easy... I'm kidding. I keep mine dry by putting in garbage bag with a huge silaca gel bag. I can just stack on shelf. I wad going to use a big plastic box. with some rice in the bottom. The rice would soak moisture.by pushthatbolder - General

Lol. I saw Chinese suppliers selling asbestos insulation for makerbot style hotend extruders. I didn't know you were allowed to buy or sell asbestos anymore. I Bring it up because I see you have the same type of extruder . Just don't play around with the insulation around the tip. You could of gone a real thick ply. It is mirrored because of the end stops and how they home. In your firmware they home at min. Or max. Because it thinks you are starting in the other corner. You can solve this in repetier host. By changing how your homing is defined. it would probably be mirror imaged on the x-axis. So start there. (Hint. Home x @ 200 with endstop in max position)by pushthatbolder - General

-if you have 5mm lead-screw with 1.8degree and 1/16 microstepping, your steps per mm is 4000 -can we assume you are slicing the object at like 20% infill and not 100%? -can we assume your extruding temp. is normal for your material, pla temp for PLA and ABS temps for ABS.? -you should also change you acceleration down from 9000 to 5000 -instead of (200.0*16/0.8), you should just put 4000 -wby pushthatbolder - General

endstops for corexy? physical or firmware based? can someone show me how to implement endstops.? where they are located, or need to be located. i have micro-switches i would like to use, and can't see where others have placed them. i have a feeling that they are firmware based, but dont know how the firmware knows were the location of the gantry is.by pushthatbolder - CoreXY Machines

Probably an error. List your g.code so we can look at the last layers of code. There may be a problem in your setup in your host program. I would suggest repetier using slic3r.by pushthatbolder - Reprappers

I have seen programs that ask if you are importing in mm or inchs. I have tried importing using imperial and it makes the object 2.5 times bigger. Not good I never liked having to think about a 64th of something, let oline an inch. I could not fathom the thought. I can metric is easy. Microns, mm, cm, km and these value cubed, are their Litre Counterpart. Metric is the world standard. Was evenby pushthatbolder - General

I am looking for an app developer for some private paid work. Experience with 3d printing is preffered. Experience in android and/or linux is preferred. Needs to be able to sign NDA. make sure your firmware start up temp is the same as the print temp on the host program... my printer in its early days hung for 5 minutes, untill it was the right temp, then started if you set it at 200 and only gets to 195, you will never get the process started, try with a lower tempby pushthatbolder - Printing

Perhaps you could post your g.code file and someone can test the slice and print job from our working printers. What slicer are you using? it might be an unconfigged slicing program. i use Slic3r and it is really easy, you just need to config properly according the specifications of your printer.by pushthatbolder - Printing

But looking at, it might be Product specific. ie. an open style fan, enclosed in a plastic shroud. And used for the Bulldog Lite Extruder It says, '- 1 x Bulldog mount + Integrated 12V Fan' so it might be a normal fan on a custom mount. but you can print your own mount and use any other ducted fan If you are finding a fan mount for this extruder, you could use thisby pushthatbolder - General

Sketchup is good to learn with. You will need to download an STL saver from the Plugins section. and you will learn how to design and the process in creating 3d printable files (eg. creating manifold parts) otherwise it could slice wrong. also you will need to repair the STL, just to make it perfect for printing. also, the circles are made up of straight lines, and not curved lines... if you are using the fan through the fan input. you can control fan through the Repetier-host interface. options are - on, off, and speed control. you can also set at which times of the print you want different fan speeds, or more max fanspeed for bridges etc.by pushthatbolder - General

find your print material volume, using your slice program. enter your price of filament and it will tell you price per volume ( $30/kg PLA = 0.039000 $/cm3) so if your slicing program tells you 5.8cm3 your price will be $ 0.2262 ____________________________________________ Volume and Mass is better to measure then length, as the density of material stays the same, but the width of the materiby pushthatbolder - General

What sort of proof should a creator take to document their work, without using patents, and still protecting the creators. .) What firmware are you using? 1.If you have setup your firmware, your extruder motor will not work while the hotend is cold, to avoid problems 'm302' will allow cold extrusion {Source- } 2.have you set the right thermistor in the firmware? -if its 100k or 200k you should specify... and the polarity on the ramps doesnt matter here is a good ramps wiring diagramby pushthatbolder - General
