Well hello Guess What!!! I have a 3D Touch working on my newest 3D Printer. Have not yet designed a modified mount the my Slide adjustable thumb screw Mount work. I Need to acquire some extension wires as my 3D Touch only has about 6 inches of wire. New if I put my mind to it would find the solution.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

I configured Marlin 1.1.9BF several time today for Bl-Touch with no success. Could not get the 3D-Touch to connect with D11 Pins so I pulled off the white connector plastic cap. This exposed all 12 pin headers however 3 pins were cut short seen in image below. This could also explain why I could never get it to work before, the pins were not long enough. Well I would really like to have step/direction/enable pins. Though this controller does not have any pins that control the step/direction/enable. I only created this pin mapping because Hictop Users have asked many times for a Pin diagram, include myself. Then I am finished with the Hictop controller Pin-out Mapping. The pin-out mapping is very similar to the Base v1.3 an MPX.3 they do not have a H6 connector You may note : two ICSP ports on controller. H6 is a standard ICSP header, but for programming the ATmega 16U2 This will give the Hictop users a more detailed look at our controllers pin-out. I have a controller from Hictop MPK V1. I do not have a complete board Connector Pin-out. Please supply me any information you may have regarding connector labeled with an " H6 ". More information they replaced the FT232RL - FTDI with an ATmega 16U2 High Speed USB controller this is where H6 connects. Thank Youby Roberts_Clif - Prusa i3 and variants

I had this problem for a while on My Hictop 3D Printer. I decided to get a different Proximity sensor from the original shown below So I purchased a Omron TL-W3MC2 this is a flat sensor, I re-designed the Mount above shown below. Honestly! Politicians Promises last longer than New Years Resolutions. Anyway . Here goes !!! I have became a lounge lizard during the Covid and have slowed down considerable doing most of my hobbies. This is for sure what we did yesterday will cost of more in the future. I too killed the regulators. There is many post as to how to replace the AMS1117-5.0 I however replaced with a higher current Buck Converter. And more here I previously had replaced the AMS1117-5.0 regulator it was not too long before it fried again, my solution was to increase the regulator current to 3 amps I choose this buck converter because of 3amp current, preset voltage levels / variaby Roberts_Clif - RAMPS Electronics

I found that if you want to get the best out of Octoprint then you should not use the minimum components. Note Right Model below vs the Left Model I was using Raspberry Pi 2 this Pi does not have the power required to 3D Print while using Octolapse add-on feature in Octoprint. Using a faster Raspberry pi with Octoprint will eliminate the fuzzy exterior texture.by Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

Both the connectors in top most photo this is the new LCD from BIgTree the Next photo down is my original controller from Hictop a 2004 LCD, I think hictop 2004 LCD is a clone of the RepRap Smart controller. THe hictop 2004 LCD also has right angle Connectors. Look at the Red Cable wire and note which side it is on. This happened to me. I found several ways to correct. The easiest is to carefully remove the plastic Key rotate it 180 degrees and replace by carefully skidding it back over the pins. The hardest is to remake the cables like I did in to attached photo by inverting the cable on one side. The least desirable way was to force the key between the plastic shown in this horribly focused photo. Thby Roberts_Clif - Firmware - Marlin

There should not be any problem with your suggested wiring. As my 3D Printer power could be explained the same. However I have both power for the electronics from pair Com1/+V1 of terminals and the bed via Com1/+V1. One day I will change it to power for the electronics from Com1/+V1 of terminals and the bed via a MOSFET from Com2/+V2.by Roberts_Clif - Safety & Best Practices
