Run the eeprom clear script 1st (arduino example menu) then reflashby obewan - Firmware - Marlin
The firmware you linked has a ultimaker board defined in the config.h, i think this has a totally different pinout than a GT2560.by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
Just had the same problem after updating to cura 3.3.1 Poor extrusion at layer change for about 5mm. Now printing perfectly after increasing the extra prime to 0.5 mm3 with retract 0.5, (using mk8 direct drive extruder).by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
shouldn't extra restart distance be positiveby obewan - Printing
M190 S115 ; set bed temperature and wait for it to be reached This is trying to heat the bed to 115 C and is probably timing out, giving the error.by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
strange that it works ok manually, can you post the 1st 50 lines of your sliced G-code.by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
Just an idea as i have seen it before Could be the bed heater switching on-off if using bang bang heating mode.by obewan - Printing
You can download the latest version of marlin Marlin or try Repetier firmware repetier online config tool Both should work ok.by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
Try setting in configuration.h // Travel limits (mm) after homing, corresponding to endstop positions. #define X_MIN_POS -15 #define Y_MIN_POS -28 allso, you UBL grid should be coords for pt1= front left pt2=front right pt3=back left so try //======================by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
This seems to be an older version of marlin, the geeetech site recomends using arduino 1.0.1 to compile it.by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
When the print head is on the x and y endstops. How far is the nozzle of the bed -x and - y ?. Can you post your current configuration.h and configuration_adv.h.com To get G28 to go to the centre of the bed,you have to set the bed size in the configby obewan - Firmware - Marlin
The home positions are set in the printer host program and the slicer. ie. repetier host/matter control/slic3r etc. Take a look Here on the page 'Getting parts centered on my print bed'by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
Why is home set at X155,Y120,Z10 ? If the X endstop is on the left and the Y endstop is at the back then theses are min endstops so x,y home should be 0,0 (or a negative value if the nozzle is off the bed at home).by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
Did you remember to fit the 3 jumpers under the Z driver ?by obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
I take it that this is a delta printer that homes to Z max@270, you should have a setting to set Z length that you need to adjust so that Z0 is the nozzle just touching the bed.(normally in eeprom if enabled)by obewan - Printing
Quote#define DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE { 300, 300, 5, 25 } With Z steps/mm set at 4000 the 5(z max feedrate) is way too high, change the 5 to a 2 or possibly 3.by obewan - Slic3r
I prefer it, all the setting under one listby obewan - Slic3r
Cura works with 0.8by obewan - Slic3r
Also, make sure you have the correct nozzle diameter set in the slicer settings.by obewan - Printing
Yes you can, make sure it is enabled in configuration_adv.h //#define BABYSTEPPINGby obewan - Firmware - Marlin
It could be that the idler pulley is wobbling slightly on the bolt (axle), is the bolt fully threaded ?,ideally it should be partly threaded bolt with a smooth shank(sry, cant remember what they are called) this would account for the belt twisting as it moves.by obewan - Reprappers
Make sure your cables are connected as in the linked image. image From your pics, the display type you have is a #define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER this should be the only line you need to enable PS. Some ppl have said they needed to cut the keyways off the display connectors in order to reverse them in the socketsby obewan - Firmware - Marlin
Yes it sounds like the nozzle chamber has oozed its contents, you can set the number of skirts in the slicer settings before you slice the object. with a 20 mm cube, 1 skirt is probably not enough to fill the chamber try 2 or 3.by obewan - Printing
Slic3r has a seam position setting in print settings/layers and perimeters/advanced, maybe setting this to random will help.by obewan - Slic3r
The way the backlight on the display flickers as it resets i would be suspicious of the 5 volt regulator on the rumba overheating, some full graphic displays need a lot of power.by obewan - Printing
The problem with mks 1.4 boards is that they have a 'physical' pullup resistior (R"0 i think) mounted on the board(near the endstop connector) so disabeling pullups in te config.h has no effect. You will likely need to remove this resistor for your sensor to work, or as i did, i replaced the resistor divider by a reverse biased diode. Here is a u-tube link to the reistor fix.by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
The extruder fan should be connected to permanent 12 volt from the power input socket, this to keep the filament cool before it reaches the heater block. D9 is used for the part cooling fan so it can be turned on/off as needed via G-codesby obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
That sounds good, exactly how i do mine and no leaks.by obewan - Printing
The main culprit for this is that the nozzle is not screwed in enough to create a seal between the nozzle and the heatbreak tube When you re-assemble the hotend, screw the nozzle all the way in and then unscrew about 1/2 a turn, now crew the heatbreak in until it touches the nozzle. Now heat the hotend up and re-tighten the nozzle so that it is completely sealed.by obewan - Printing
I believe repetier firmware should suffice You need to enable CNC mode in the tools tabby obewan - Firmware - mainstream and related support
