You need to adjust the nozle height a lil bit lower to the bed.I find it about right when i can just pull the paperby obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
The part in the video where it drops Z after homing X Y, is where the existing bed lvl matrix is catching up with itself(seen by Z not moving while homing x y) Try erasing existing matrix from eeprom, then start the auto bed lvlby obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
i am by far a novice at cad design, but i do get on quite well with FREECAD.by obewan - General
Do you get same if you send M48 P10 X100 Y100 V4by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
You probably have a multi start leadscrew. Look atvthe end of the leadscrew, it probably has 4 starts on it, so divide your steps/mm by 4 (2560/4=640) set your Z steps to 640 should sort it. for X and Y what pitch is the belts (tooth - tooth) What diameter is the pully on the motor and how many teeth on the pullyby obewan - General
The X Y Z will flash ? until the axis have been homed ,then they should show axis position.by obewan - General
there is a eeprom clear sketch in arduino/file/example/eeprom menu, uploading this will clear the eeprom and then when you re flash the firmware, the new settings will be loaded into eeprom. Alternately if you use repetier host you can edit the eeprom directly. Or send to printer M502 ;reead config M500 ;save config to eepromby obewan - Prusa i3 and variants
For safety i would run 4 wires from plug too power supply,by obewan - General
After taking another look at your picture, Is your Y end stop located at the back(as you call it) of the printer, ie oposit end to the dsplay, if it is then that would be a Y min endstop and homing Y should move the bed towards it. This puts the nozzle at X0 Y0 (front left corner of the bed.by obewan - Firmware - Marlin
Is the pic showing 2 cables or 4. Looks like 2 cables with black plugs for motors ends and whight plugs for driver pcb, What controller board do you have?by obewan - General

What version of Arduino are you using to compile marlin with, the later version do have compile errors with marlin. I use arduino 1.6.8 with no errors. Allso what type of Z axis does your printer have, Threaded rods or Lead screws, and what size ?by obewan - General

Seems it is same config as a hictop or ramps 1.4 So you could flash it with marlin okby obewan - Reprappers
The extruder steps/mm are stored in the eeprom which takes preference over what you set in config.h You can edit the eeprom directly from repetier host (config menu) or Send following codes to printer M502 ;read config settings M500 ;store settings to eepromby obewan - Reprappers
You need to print the small part slower to give the layer time to cool, there should be a setting in the slicer to set the minimum layer time, try 7-10 seconds. You could allso print a second tower to take up some layer time.by obewan - General Mendel Topics

Check the underside of the ramps pcb for any burned out copper tracks, Remove all stepper drivers and try arduino/ramps, if ok try fitting 1 stepper at a time. *note* mains i/p on power supply, brown is live and blue is neutral, but that wouldn't cause damage.by obewan - RAMPS Electronics
