If you are using a mechanical relay, you should to use bang-bang, not PID. With PID, there is a good chance of it welding closed.
If you want to use PID, use a SSR. If your using a DC supplied bed, then get one that's listed at the bottom here:

It's easier to use a 12vdc relay board than trying to get the resisters correct.
Don't forget that the voltage drop across a diode varies with temperature and current.

The following may be what you need. The negative value tells Marlin the endstop is -13mm from 0 of the bed.
In configuration.h:
// Travel limits after homing (units are in mm)
#define X_MIN_POS -13
#define Y_MIN_POS 0
#define Z_MIN_POS 0

Your end stops are wired wrong at the controller, you have them shorting the power to ground instead of signal & ground.

One cause for the missing layers is the filament jamming up on the spool.

2. CoreXY (B ) - corexy over two levels without crossing
See:
while the type 2 quicker but loose
I built my corexy with makerslide with the belts setup that way and it's not 'loose' in it's operation. I also use a e3dv6 on a Titan extruder.
I put the printer on Thingiverse:

Sounds like the stepper driver is turning off and on due to overheating.

Wired inline with one of the bed's power leads, and I tape it to the heater in about the center. They detect the temp by being in contact with the heater. If it ever trips, you have to replace it.

Upgraded from 12v to a 120v 750W 300x300 Silicone Heater
and wow my heated bed goes from cold to 80 degrees in under 2 min
Install a thermal fuse, that bed can get very hot.

Get Marlin from , use the 'clone or download' button to get it as a zip file. Extract it to it's own directory.
Get the Arduino IDE from and install it.
Start the Arduino IDE, then File->Open, browse to where you extracted the zip file, in the Marlin directory open Marlin.ino then click on the confirguration.h tab.
If needed, see for videos on how to set up Marlin.

1 Your G28 X0 clears the auto bed leveling you did. Change it to G1 X0. For the other change you need to edit the gcode, or write a post processor or make a custom version of slic3r.
2 Use the gcode to change to relative moves.

Have the power for the heater run through a thermal fuse, such that it gets too hot the fuse will trip and kill the power.

Firmware - Marlin
1-Have the ir sensor high enough so it's not triggered.
2-Get the hotend to operating temp.
3-Lower the hotend until the ir sensor triggers.
4-Set Z to 0 using G92 Z0.
5-Then lower the hotend until a piece of paper slightly drags, and use the new z position on the LCD or via M114 for the z probe offset. If you have the EEPROM enabled, don't forget to update it.
The X & Y offsets don't have

The only way to get better cooling on the pololu style drivers, is to use some wire wrap or arduino headers to raise them up so you can put the heatsink underneath on the pc board and have a fan cool them from the side.

Are you printing from usb or sd?
It could be the gcode has a high number of segments to queue during the pauses.

When I got that error, I had to change what usb port I was using. The usb3 port got the error, but switching it to a usb2 port fixed it.

It's a compression fitting. If you tighten it too much, it will crush the tube and the filament won't be able to go through.

I use a cheap lm2596 buck converter for my led ring light. Got 12 of the buck converters for $11 on ebay. It also works great as a dimmer for it.

When setting up the xy directions. Change one & test. Write down what it's doing.
#define INVERT_X_DIR true
#define INVERT_Y_DIR false
If the x or y always ends up reversed, swap x & y without rotating the connectors and run thru the firmware settings again.
