Why don't you settle for a pushbutton+encoder ? Seems that it's the standard now...

Can't help with keypad, but we use LCD with MT2 with no problems (NOW...has been quite a bumpy road making it work).
We changed uiconfig.h as following:

#else // Direct display connections
#define UI_DISPLAY_RS_PIN 14 // PINK.1, 88, D_RS

I find it quite amusing that while I am running to make a good quality printer to sell, splicing cents yet keeping quality as #1 priority, those guys are asking 500$ more for a different color scheme (i.e. blue-tinted perspex instead of ...) of a printer that has yet to materialize.
Again, I wonder why there is no youtube teaser of this "awesome" technology.

180 F is 90% of the T required to boil water.
Is your attic really that hot ?
Anyway, I wouldnt' dry *any* filament on my oven. I like my pizza to taste tomato, not an unknown oil from overseas. :-)
And there are plenty of cheap semi-toy

If I understand well, the machine tells to the pc to pause the machine.
No way to bypass the PC (i.e.: when printing mulitple copies from onboard sd card) ?

Was thinking to put a microswitch to detect end-of-spool conditions to avoid ruining a print while out for lunch.
Thank you anyway.

Is it possible to link one input pin to IMMEDIATE pause/restart of printing job (not waiting for the cache to be emptied) ?

Obviously each axis is being moved from associated arrow icons.
Therefore the mental picture of moving Z is Extruder assembly on sliding-bed architectures, or the bed itself when it is a lifting-bed architecture.
Surely getting too much options can be confusing (skeinforge docet), but right now Repetier host is quite spartan about options, therefore I don't see any risk to increase complexity.

Won't do it.
My homing switch is at Zmax position.
Now when Z=0 bed touches extruder.
If I invert, Z=0 will be at Zmax.....
Host sources: could be a solution , but will take me a lot of time to dig into so

Hello all,
I am working on a moving Z plane printer, much like Makerbot or Ultimaker setup.
I have no problem with Repetier Host + FW, everything is working OK, I just would like to reverse the action of + and - Z buttons to match the real thing, so when I hit the "up" button, the bed will go up.
Z bed is at zero when all up (against extruder), and at 200 when all down.
Is anything I can do

*if* you are using Repetier firmware, there is a HEATED_BED_MAX_TEMP setting somewhere into config.h.
